New 4/5 Science Units
The Las Virgenes 4/5 Science Team and two classroom teachers have been planning science units that are aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards. The transition to the Next Generation Science Standards will occur over the next two years. Connecting these new science standards and science units to the Common Core standards in math and English language arts is an important goal for both science and classroom teachers to achieve over the next several years. The Science Team will continue to create new units and provide information to classroom teachers as the science units are developed.
